About the PrivaCI Institute

PrivaCI Institute for Technology Policy and Social Integrity is a non-profit committed to advancing the theory and practice of privacy as contextual integrity.

We aim to transform how privacy is understood, protected, and implemented through interdisciplinary scholarship, community engagement, technological innovation, education, and policy impact.

The Case for Support: Transform Research into Real-World Impact

Your partnership directly supports our mission to advance privacy as contextual integrity and translate research into meaningful changes in technology, institutional practice, and public policy.

  • Community & Collaboration: Support the annual PrivaCI Symposium, cross-sector working groups, and networking initiatives that connect researchers, practitioners, and public-interest advocates.
  • Research & Publication: Encourage collaborative research on contextual integrity across health, AI, education, law, and other areas, while supporting publications, research tools, and shared frameworks.
  • Education & Outreach: Help develop tutorials, workshops, teaching materials, and public events that make contextual integrity accessible to students, professionals, and the public.
  • Technology Development: Support collaboration with technologists to integrate contextual integrity into technology design, architecture, product evaluation, and open-source tools.
  • Policy Consultation: Contribute to expert consultation, white papers, policy briefs, and regulatory guidance for lawmakers, agencies, standards organizations, and civil society.
  • Cross-Sector Engagement: Connect directly with academics, technologists, regulators, and legal scholars working to advance responsible digital innovation and context-aware privacy.
